Auto glass Replacement

Auto glass Installation is not created equal

1) Your insurance may cover all your costs.

That’s right. You may not have to pay a penny out of pocket. Many insurance plans include some sort of glass coverage. So before you decide not to replace it or pay for the fix yourself, call us to verify your insurance.

2) Not all auto glass is created equal.

Some aftermarket replacement glasses and parts do not match original parts (OEM) specifications. If a lower quality glass is installed in your vehicle it could have poor surface control, poor optics, or non-solar optimized properties--which can cause the interior of your car to get warmer.

3) Glass should be installed with a high-quality urethane adhesive.Ask what replacement glass they will use and if it meets federal safety standards. The type of glass you want installed in your car is either OEM or OEE (original equipment equivalent). You have the right to choose what type of glass you want installed in your vehicle, and we offer OEM and OEE aftermarket options to our customers.

Inferior adhesives may not set as quickly and could endanger you or your passengers. Temperature, humidity, drive-away time and the vehicle manufacturer determine the proper adhesive choice and a professional glass technician will know exactly which adhesive to use.

4) What certifications does your auto glass company have?

This is an important one. You should look for a company that has the proper credentials and training for the job. We are AGRSS certified by the Auto Glass Safety Council, which means that we adhere to strict quality and installation guidelines. Your certified glass technician will always make the right choice for the job.

5) Is the auto glass company insured with liability and workers compensation insurance?

When a company is licensed as a contractor and carries liability insurance you are protected from anything that may occur while your vehicle is being worked on.

6) After the repair or replacement is done, does the company warranty their work?

You should always expect a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle. This ensures quality workmanship and gives you some peace of mind.

The bottom line is that you should do a little research on the company, its products, and its warranties before committing. We understand that you’d prefer a quick fix, but taking just a few minutes to ask some questions will really set you at ease and ensure you’re getting quality work.

ADAS Calibration

ADAS calibration is important because it ensures that a vehicle's advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are working correctly and safely:

  • Accuracy

ADAS components are sensitive and need to be calibrated to the exact specifications of the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Even a slight misalignment can cause sensors to miss targets.

  • Safety

Proper calibration ensures that ADAS features like automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control are reliable and precise. This helps to avoid system malfunctions and false alerts.

  • Compliance

Calibration helps to maintain compliance with vehicle manufacturer specifications.

ADAS calibration is needed after: Significant repairs, Part replacements, Collisions, and Windshield replacement.

ADAS sensors can include cameras, radar, or ultrasonic sensors. They need to be precisely aimed to work correctly. For example, a sensor that's even a fraction of an inch out of alignment could mean that the area it's scanning is off-axis by 50 feet or more.

Rock chip repair

Keep in mind that a rock chip repair works best if you fix the damage quickly. If the chip gets contaminated by dirt or cleaning materials, then you might need a more complex repair. If contamination worsens the damage, then you might need to pay for a new windshield.
